NEW EMPLOYEE SCHOLARSHIPWe here at CRBFA wish to invest in the development of our new employees in hopes that they can find long term success here at Capital Region BOCES, and ideally a career! Therefore, each year, the Faculty Association is now offering a $1,000 scholarship to any member choosing to take coursework that can improve their performance as a BOCES employee.
TO QUALIFY: Be an active member, in good standing, and be a 1-5 year employee who wishes to take a class or classes related to their content field, job/class appointment, or toward their certification.
COURSE ELIGIBILITY – Prove enrollment in a course, workshop or conference that takes place during the 2024-25 school year. Complete course before 7/2025. Provide CRBFA with evidence of a passing grade or course-completion certification by 9/2025.

Provide a short essay explaining why the CRBFA should invest in you. The applicant should explain how the completion of a particular coursework will help to better develop you as a professional, enrich your students’ experience, and also position you as a more valuable employee to the BOCES as a whole.
